I'm going to show you the best way to do this with all stock plugins in Logic Pro X, mostly using Flex Mode and the Q-Sampler (Quick Sampler).

This topic is quite possibly my most requested video since the new Logic Pro 10.5 update. What is the best way to sample in Logic Pro 10.5?

Sampling has become a popular way to make music in today's modern era, rising in popularity in the 80's with hip hop producers using Akai MPC's. I'm going to show you the best way to do this with all stock plugins in Logic Pro X, mostly using Flex Mode and the Q-Sampler (Quick Sampler).

We're going to take an old soul/rnb song called ""This is the Place"" by Kansas City Express, find a chunk of audio that we want to sample, time stretch it to our project to make a 4 bar loop, and then put that loop in the Q-Sampler to be sliced up and create a new melody using those chops. At the end I will also throw on some boom-bap style drums that are included in Tony Holiday presents: SOUND PLAYGROUND Vol. 1.
